Mother's Day

Weather is finally becoming warm. We had a very long and brutal winter and we didn't leave the house much.

Last week for Mother's Day we went and got some frozen yogurt. It's sad how much Eliza hates it.

E isn't the most affectionate kid. I mean she didn't really liked to be rocked by anyone other than daddy or sit on anyone's lap. That's changing though. We were yelling into pop beads and taking pics....

And she turned around and kissed me. Without being asked. It was a first and the best Mother's Day present ever.

Dave made me a beautiful card too.

I've been getting more and more into paper crafts. The other day I made E a faces book. (Not to be confused with Facebook!)

She's really funny how she interacts with toys sometimes. Maybe she has a future as a mechanic.

She loved swings last summer. This year she decided to feel differently!

How are you this weekend?

Love the idea of the 'face book'! How adorable is that?
I love the faces book idea! and also interesting that you are mama and dada. We are mama and papa (the German way) but this is slightly confusing because in Scotland lots of people call their granddads papa. So we may change it to dada!
