Caress® Passionate Spell Giveaway
I was contacted by a lovely representative for Caress® Passionate Spell® Fine Fragrance Elixir Body Wash asking if I'd like to review it for my site and they provided a bottle for me to try.
After my husband and myself using it exclusively for a week here is what we think. We did not let the other see what we wrote before posting and we didn't talk about it so as to give a fair assessment.
Her opinion.
This is just silly but I really like that it is kind of a dark amber color. It stands out from anything else I have in the shower and can easily identify with my glasses off. The smell is hard to describe. It is kinda dark and spicy but not over the top. I tend to be a bit tender nosed right now and it wasn't too much. Perfect for this wintery temps though, infused with the scent of passion fruit and fiery orange rose. I will say though that this is not a "go to bed" smell for myself, too invigorating. It is more a "hello morning!" or I "I have a hot date tonight and hope he will sniff me close" smell. The lather, moisture and texture were all good and it didn't dry out my skin at all which is always something I fear with scented products. Personally I would buy again. It was a nice change from our usual soapy smelling product.
His opinion
Passionate Spell® has a strong spicy smell that I really liked. It's definitely invigorating (to borrow soap commercial jargon) and probably best for a wake up morning shower rather than a calm down evening shower. The body wash is really thick, which is a definite plus in my book, as you won't waste it going from bottle to body. My only complaint (doesn't seem like a review without one) is that it isn't super sudsy/lathery. Then again, I prefer my body wash on the foamy side. Would recommend, will likely buy again when it's on sale.
