Casualish I dressed upwith a blazer at work.  I got one photo before my neighbor came out. I didn't want to explain to him and his three kids why I was standing in the driveway posing infront of his house. (It's easier to prop the camera on my steps and face his) I am a little blushy in these photos but the second I put my glasses back on the shadow they cast makes it go away. I never take my glasses off in real life though so that is what people are seeing all day.

I made these two bracelets this weeked. I used silk cord. BAD IDEA. Don't do it. Use waxed thread. I love the rose gold with brown though. A.C Moore had sterling silver and gold plated beads. Made them feel more fancy.

I got this brown sparkle bracelet from AC.Moore too. It is super sparkly in real life. It kinda matches the earrings I am wearing too which I made a few years ago.

Only the shoes are the same.

How was your weekend? Eat anything fun?

Dave made pulled bbq chicken and roasted corn pizza last night that was AMAZING. Lordy so good. The GF crust he used Against the Grain is stupid expensive but it is worth it. If you see it GET IT. Even if you can have gluten, that is how good it is. There was also Apple PIEEEEEEEEEEE We had apples left over from a visit to a farm near my gram's last weekend. The farm is neat because my meme used to go there in the 1920's, same little farm owned by same family.

I think my favorite part is your super secret striped socks. That pizza sounds super yum. Roasted corn on just about anything is a winner.

I love that blazer. Very autumnal. That sounds awkward, but that's the word that comes to mind when I see it.

I ate cheesecake this weekend. I ate other things too, but cheesecake was definitely the highlight. I always find the gluten free stuff to be really dense and filling. I'm glad you found something delicious that Dave can eat. I can't imagine having restrictions on my food.

Is that paisley made of flowers? That is fabulous!
This weekend, I ate a gourmet hotdog. That's about the only exciting thing I ate.

I love that blouse! I saw it at H&M, but I didn't think it looked that great on me. It looks awesome on you!

Thanks so much everyone! I was feeling a bit boring at first but then realized that it was all in how I looked at it. Lisa Atumnal was a great way to describe it.

You are so good at picking out cute blouses. My theory is that I don't shop often enough. If I wait until I really need something and then hunt for it, it seems to become an impossible quest.

SPYGIRL I am the same way. I kinda hate shopping. I wait until I need things and then its an intensely frustrating quest. One thing that helps me is I try and shop with things in mind. I was going to NYC for the weekend when I got this and I looked for something that layered well but was thin and I could sit on a train for four hours in. A LOT Of my clothes Dave picked. I get annoyed and upset and he tries to help then picks great things. (the top I am going ot post today, totally him)
