Little subtle pattern mixing. If you haven't noticed I'm not big on it in my own dressing. I like it on others I just don't have the knack.
Jacket and earrings H&M
Shirt Forever 21
Skirt and leggings Target
Boots Clarks
Necklace Avon
I have on a short chambray skirt booties and leggings.
I just tend to be more about color mixing. That and I mostly just own polka dots and stripes! I have so much of both.
Did a new Sally Hansen nail strip. CVS has them buy one get one 50% and there was an additional coupon in last Sunday's paper.
Are you a pattern mixer? What's your favorite combo? Are you a color mixer as well?

I love to pattern mix, but it's kind of a recent thing for me. I've mixed color for years. Now I'm working on mixing color & subtle patterns at the same time, without veering into tacky territory. And florals and stripes - I love it on some bloggers that do floral and stripe well, but haven't pulled it off yet.
i try my hand at pattern mixing now and then, but i dont think i have quite mastered the art. i do like experimenting with mixing my colors, though. still not a master, but i feel more confident there.

I do pattern mix, but it's usually subtle like you're doing above. Dots and stripes, pin stripes + a patterned top, etc. But I've gotten a little more bold lately. I mix colors too, but I tend to stick to classics. I've gotten to be a big fan of mixing black and brown, pink (or purple) and green. Navy and yellow is a favorite, but I don't have much navy.
I don't tend to mix patterns, mostly because I don't, um, have lots of patterned stuff. I mean, a subtle pinstripe with a striped button-down shirt doesn't really scream "pattern mixer," you know?
