REVIEW China Glaze Peace on Earth

My husband I and went up to New Hampshire for Thanksgiving. I don't have a place to get China Glaze in the city (if you know one let me know!) Of course that meant I had to stop by Sallys as there is one in my hometown on a main strip.
I've reviewed China Glaze many times in the past. They are one of my favorite polish brands and are on par with OPI (I thinking China Glaze is my favorite lately) Great wear (this photo is taken 48 hours after application) and they apply smoothly and are fully opaque in two coats. Peace on Earth from the 2010 'Tis The Season Holiday collection is a metallic shimmer olive green. It's totally different than other colors out there right now. I haven't come across a metallic olive until recently. It's gorgeous and the exact same color as my eyes.
It will be great for Christmas themed Konad manicures. I also like it for fall and the autumnal palette I love so much. A good alternative to the dark inky colors I usually gravitate towards in the fall. Peace on Earth is available at Sally's for $5 or $3.90 on Amazon.

Do you change your polish colors with the seasons?

I do more dark colors in the fall but honestly I wear dark all year. In the past I didn't wear pastels in the winter because my black sheepskin mittens always stained my nails. I got new gloves for this year so that shouldn't be a problem anymore. I do avoid sheer shades in winter and go wild with them in spring and summer.

That color is pretty! I have the Mrs. Claus, Mistletoe Kisses, and Party Hearty. I couldn't find Sugar Plums or Peace on Earth...booo, especially now that I see the color.

I would love to see a whole post or tutorial on how you do your nails. Your polish always looks so perfect. My cuticles are a mess and my nails stay really short and I don't really know what to do with them.

Ms ten. Nothing to tutorial really. I paint them and scrape the excess off in shower. See the nails tab at the top of the Page I address all things nails related there. I cut them really short this weekend because they were lookIng shabby. I actually am really messy when I paint. A good clear toP coat kinda masks problem luckily.

Wow, that is a really unique color! It does have a good Christmas feel without being too primary colored. I get a bit of a military vibe too...I wonder if a kind of camo effect with a brown or tan would look good?

My nails are dark year round, but by nails I mean toenails. My toenails are almost always painted but my fingernails rarely are. I keep my fingernails fairly long, and my favorite dark colored polishes seem to be a bit much on long fingernails. I want to get some subtle glittery polishes for my fingernails.
