Puffer fish

Feeling a little rough around the edges today. Last night after Chanel I went to the Cheesecake Factory by myself to have dinner. Dave can't eat there and I thought it would be fun for me. I um got sick. My taquitos? No es bueno. I was so sick. I got a piece of cakes to take home and it is in the fridge at home. Then this morning I woke up with a killer migraine but I didn't take anything because I was going to dentist and I was worried the adrenaline might screw me up. I get wicked panic-y from it. I get to work and my face was swollen and I had toothpaste on my black dress. #fail Half my head I spent time curling this morning is flat from the dentist chair. I am not complaining at all. I am not letting it all get me down but I am telling a story.

I took some pics of me curling it because people often ask what I do. I just use a regular curling iron and go around my head. I have long thick hair and it only takes me a few minutes. I pin my hair up and pull sections down and curl them. (Let me warn you I am in PJs with no makeup)



and once I am done curling it looks like this and I spray it.



and then run my fingers through it to losen it up.



Last night Carrie at Chanel had on a cute girlie ruffle dress with Frye Engineer boots. I thought it was a cute pairing. All my girlie dresses are in the wash so I went with a lady like dress to pair with the boots. I did a bathroom shot because it is pouring and I don't have a tripod.



Then I tried this and I have to say that I can't believe I am posting this.



Then I said screw it and tried to take a picture in my office balancing my camera.



Yeah so when I got to work I was pretty puffy. I didn't know how bad it was until someone pointed it out. It was so numb I couldn't smile.



And I don't know what the world happened but I had the iphone set to HDR and it took these in the middle of the other normal looking photos. SO WEIRD I don't know what happened. When it is on HDR it take one photo and gives you two different versions. Normally just one lighter than the other. But I want to know what the hell happened so I can recreate it!! They are the same photo but it did some weird treatment to them. I didn't change any setting the normal pic above was taken right after this without any stopping.I look SO ILL I kinda love it. I wish my hair glowed like that!




What do you have planned for this weekend?
I need to kinda take it easy. Between the food poisoning, 3 migraines, 1 missed day of work and 2 nights of insomnia I am feeling a bit worse for wear. They all feed off one another too. I hope there are cupcakes involved. We do have that CASE of cake mixes after all....
