CoverGirl GIVEAWAY

I know you all were wondering what was in that giant box I got. Let me refresh your memory. (see my hand on bottom left)

CoverGirl kindly gifted me with all three smoky eye kits from their collection.

You already saw the "Bold" look. This week you will see me do looks with the "Glamorous" and the "Natural" kits.

They also sent me a chair. You read that right a CHAIR! There has been a few standoffs on who the chair belongs to. Clearly it says MAKEUP MASTER and it is mine but others seem to disagree.

Now for the best part. CoverGirl has given me a $20 gift card to Walmart give away to one of you my lovely readers!! (Hopefully to blow all on CoverGirl?!) (Am I bratty to say I am jealous?!) Now there is a small catch. We are going to make you work for it. (I honestly dislike when people only comment on giveaways and run!)

To enter you need submit a photo of you doing a smoky eye look! Oh don't even start with the "I don't know how" Check out CoverGirl's Smoky Eye Looks page for easy to follow videos. It is as simple as taking a eyeliner pencil and lining your eye and smudging with your finger. So simple a kid can do it! (don't make me show you my 13 year old cousin's Facebook page!)

Leave a comment below with a link to your photo and tell me what products you used to do it. (You do not need to use only CoverGirl.)  I will choose a winner on Friday July 2nd and the winner has until July 6th 8pm EST to claim prize and if they don't a new winner will be chosen. One entry per person and it is only open to US residents. (Sorry international people. 3 of my last 4 were won buy over seas people so I do look out for you!)

PS. Who else sings the NKOTB song when ever they see CoverGirl?

Yay I finally got a picture uploaded! Now, you'll have to believe me that this looked way smokier in real life. I think I don't know how to take makeup pictures without washing out all the color. Like smokey enough that after I took the picture, I wiped most of it off with a cotton ball and Erik STILL said my eyes were almost too fancy for Ikea (which is where we went right after this picture). I used dark green eyeliner (rimmel, perhaps?), grey shadow on my lids (an OLD maybelline shadow "cool effects" stick sort of thing - looks like a big fat eyeliner pencil), and a similar gold eyeshadow stick on top of that (Mary Kay), and kept patting it all with my finger until it all looked blended together. And then put on Lancome mascara.

i dont usually wear makeup to work, so a seriously smokey eye would have been noticed by everyone in the office. this one was light enough that i could pull it off.
i used Covergirl Smokey Shadow Blast in Citrus Flare. im not sure it is the best color combo for me, but i would definitely love to try another combo, since the ease of use is so great.

I'm nervous to do smokey eyes because instead of looking sultry, I usually just look mean. ;)

It's much darker in person.

I used Too Faced Shadow Insurance primer (which totally rocks!), Revlon Colorstay eyeliner in blackberry, Cover Girl shadows in Passion Plum and Whisper Soft, and the gold and bronze colors from my Almay intense i-colors from Trio for Greens. My mascara is L'Oreal Voluminous in black.
Here's my entry -

I used CoverGirl eyeshadows in Night Sky & Purple Dawn, with a no-name silvery shimmer as a base, Rimmel Jet Black Kohl eyeliner and Rimmel Glam'Eyes Mascara.

Usually on nights out I go full on black and grey shadow but for work I switch to burgundys or purple-y blue shades like this one.
