Monday now with crazy hot temps!

Its a scorcher here today. The weather gal said it feels like 100 with the heat index. Luckily (or unluckily) I work in a an arctic office so I have only brief encounters with the heat.
Dress Taget. its soft brown with navy and dark brown flowers with black ribbon around neck that ties in the back
Shoes Vera Wang for Kohls
Bracelet Pandora (I added to it this weekend! I need to take a new pic of the two new beads.
Necklace Marc Jacobs Magnifying glass
Earrings Cherry quartz with hearts and stars my husband made.
Ring abalone shell from Peabody Essex Museum
I brought my camera but forgot my chip today so my husband took these on his iphone. I was impressed with the quality.
Detail of top of dress.
Older pic but it works for a shoe detail.
I added two beads to this over the weekend. I need to take an updated photo with them. Each bead has a little meaning. (some more special than others)
Me being silly in the sunglasses of discord. My husband is wicked laid back and lets me do my thing without ever giving his opinion unless I drag it out of him. This was the first item in our 13 years he adamantly dislikes and makes his opinion on the matter well known. I am kinda a brat and the more he dislikes the more I love them and want to wear them everywhere. Probably because he never ever says boo.
So I told you about my weekend. (see last post) what did you do this weekend?
Another question for you. I have spoken about how I can't (don't want) to personally dye my hair anymore. Takes 3 boxes and every 4 weeks and I make a mess, blah blah, blah. I want to have it done. I am SO picky and want it perfect. I was thinking highlights, as they are the most low maintenance thing ever. I can go up to 4 months without touchups but with all over color in a month my roots are bad. They are also SO light compared to my dark red I have been doing this past year +.
What do you think of this?

All over color needs to be redone every 3-4 weeks on me. And takes THREE boxes of dye.
Highlights I can go 3 to 4 MONTHS inbetween. Whenever I have them thats how long i go inbetween and it always looked good. See links above.
This wkd was full of home repairs. It wasn't fun, but it was neccessary - it was a broken A/C unit. Critical in houston in august.
I also got to play a soccer game and then watch the Houston Dynamo play a game last night. It was a bunch of fun, but I'm sleepy as a result.
I actually think the red with highlights would look great on you. I am similarly pale and currently have a color close to yours, but a while back I had a brighter red with highlights and I really loved it. The ONLY thing I will warn you of is that the highlights can go kind of brassy on me once they're grown out some. That's why I stopped getting them, since at the time I didn't have the cash for their upkeep. You can see them pretty well in this pic...

Bam thats my motto! I can always redye it. I have had most colors in the sun and we have redone it a zillion times. :P I blame my mom who is a hairdresser.
kelly thanks!

I should of said easier FOR ME work wise.
So after talking to el hubs. I am going to dye it myself one last time. (because I ALREADY have the dye and don't want to waste it) then in a month I will go and have this done. It gives me time to interview hairdressers too!
1) LOVE that hair That is one of my favorite takes on red color. LOVE LOVE LOVE. DO IT.
2) You look way too sexy to be working in a library today. Dang.

I flat ironed it flat flat flat. Then I twisted the back up and made it stand up a little and clipped it. I then pulled pieces to make it "oh I just woke up like this"
