Dressing for kitten attacks
Today we are going to see our surrogate to see our new little girl again. We can't take her home for another 2.5 weeks still. Yes I am talking about a cat. I was warned the 8 kittens like to climb peoples legs so I wore jeans to save myself from tiny needle claws. Nothing in the world is cuter than a pile of 8 tiny kittens. I can't even tell you how cute they are. Which one we are taking home is not set in stone but we do have our eye on one and the owner is in agreement. (I just don't want to set my heart on one just in case) But we will be taking home a girl. The above photo is the last time we went to see them. I am holding Holly the runt of the litter.

We have been a little giddy over the kitten. We have one cat now which was a first for both of us and she pretty much has us wrapped around her tail. We got her as a small adult cat so we missed out on the kitten time. We have had a million conversations about what would the kitten be doing now. Will she get along with Daisyboo?

I figured out the posting issue! Google chrome and blogger are not buds when it comes to editing the HTML in blogger. Yeah! So glad its fixed. My inner Libra was very annoyed with all the mismatched fonts.

We have two cats: Stella and Omar. Stella was named for Stella Artois (yep- beer) and Omar for the character of the same name on "The Wire."
We love them but man, it's like having kids sometimes!
I am kind of a crazy pet lady. I had two kitties, Paige and Grace, and when I moved in with my boyfriend I got a dog of my own named Winston. BF also has a dog named Homer (not Simpson).
Two cats and two dogs! All have been rescued from various places. Love, love, love. :)

Nick and I have The Egg, AKA Grand Manipulator. I had a cat growing up named Smokey. I want to get a pup, but we travel too much and the expense of owning a dog is too great.

I have only three cats right now (my mother is up to 8)
One of my cats is 16, the Princess (her title, not her name, one is 12, and one is only 6 and pretty darn fat. We lost a 17 yr old cat to cancer a couple of years ago. His name was Bo. We also have dogs and rats. Yep, I get dibs on the Noah gig if it comes up I think.

anna we too decided a pup didn't fit into our lifestyle. The cat is SO easy. Daisy is so chill I want to meet a naughty cat just for a day.

heather we can't have pets either. We sweet talked the landlord because he had a signpaper work when we adoopted daisyboo! He said yeah cats are ok! The kitten is a private adoption so its ok.
